Will I need planning permission for my pergola?
In most cases, the good news is that you won’t require planning permission for your pergola, as long as it is not installed at the front of the property, doesn’t take up more than 50% of your garden, and doesn’t exceed the measurements outlined by your local planning authority. This goes for if you have a freestanding pergola or one attached to your home with a roof, as these are classed as a temporary building and not an extension.
However, we always recommend checking with your local council to confirm specific regulations.
Can I customise my pergola?
Absolutely! Our pergolas can be fully customised with integrated LED lighting, various colours to match your design landscape, and we provide a choice between freestanding and wall-mounted options. This intends to give you the freedom to design a space that fits your style and needs.
What is the lifespan of an aluminium pergola?

Yes, aluminium pergolas are not permanent fixtures. If you decide to move, they can be easily disassembled and reinstalled at your new location. Since they’re securely anchored, they’re stable, but they can be taken with you if needed!

Not at all! The fantastic news is that aluminium pergolas are low-maintenance and easy to care for. A simple wipe-down with soapy water a few times a year is all that’s needed to keep your pergola looking shiny and new.

Order Processing & Shipping Updates
Once you place an order, you will receive email updates regarding its status and shipping details, including a tracking number once the order has been dispatched.
All orders are delivered directly from our suppliers across the UK.
Delivery Service Area:
We deliver to all locations within the UK. If you are not within UK mainland (Scottish Isles, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man), please contact us prior to placing an order to discuss your delivery.
We do not deliver to international destinations.
Processing Time:
- Orders are processed within 1-2 working days (Monday - Friday) from the date of purchase.
- The order cutoff time is 2:00 PM (GMT) Greenwich Mean Time (London). Orders placed after this time will be processed the next working day.
Delivery Time:
- Standard Shipping: Orders are typically delivered within 2-7 working days (Monday to Friday) during regular seasons.
- If you have not received tracking details within 7 working days, please contact us at contact@decortrading.co.uk for assistance.
Delivery Costs:
- Free delivery for orders over £300.
- Orders under £300 incur a flat-rate delivery charge of £14.99.
Delivery Carriers:
We use DPD UK, FedEx, and Yodel for deliveries.
Order Tracking:
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the courier’s website.

Delivery Failure:
If delivery fails due to incorrect shipping details or the recipient being unavailable, the order will be returned to us at the customer's expense. Any shipping costs incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.
Address Changes:
- Once an order is in transit, we cannot change the delivery address.
- If you need to update your address, please contact us within one day of placing your order at contact@decortrading.co.uk or call 020 3582 0563.
Receiving Your Order:
- Upon delivery, please inspect your package carefully.
- If the package is damaged or incomplete, refuse delivery or sign as "Damaged", then contact us immediately.
Order Cancellation:
- If your order has not been shipped yet, we will provide a full refund upon cancellation.
- If your order has already been shipped, you will need to request a return after receiving the package. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for more details.
Gift Wrapping:
We currently do not offer gift-wrapping services.
Holiday Deliveries:
We do not deliver on Bank Holidays. Orders placed during these times will be delivered on the next working day.
Taxes:

We have developed this policy to ensure that you are fully informed of our return and refund methods and procedures. This policy applies to (UK) country.
14 day return policy
If you would like to return an item for a refund, please notify us within 14 days of delivery.
If you have found a defective product, please send us a photo of a damaged product. We will then send the courier to collect the item for you. We bear the total costs of the case. We will send you a new item at no extra cost and if you no longer need the item, we will refund the full order amount to the card you used while shopping.
If you have ordered the wrong product and would like to return it, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Returns Process:
To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@decortrading.co.uk or call 020 3582 0563.We can only accept unused items in their original condition as received. Returns will not be accepted for items that are damaged or no longer in their original state. All returns must include the original packaging, which must remain intact and undamaged.
We must receive the items back within 14 days of our approval of your return.
As soon as we have received the product, we will refund the order amount on the card you used when purchasing.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items:

To return a damaged, incorrect or defective product, you must first contact us via email to arrange a replacement or refund.
Exchanges:
We do not accept exchanges.

We do not charge any restocking fees for returns.
Refunds:
